I was reading one of my favorite blogs, A Cup of Jo, and was inspired by a recipe I found there called The Best Peach Tart You’ll Ever Have! How could I pass that one up? Really? Okay. Game on! I printed out the recipe, which by the way, had a pre-made pie shell as an ingredient. You guys already know how intimidated I am by pie crust! So this gal had me hook, line, and sinker! This tart also has ricotta cheese in it. Sounded SO good, I wanted it NOW! As I started to read the recipe I decided that I was going to change it up just a bit. Blueberries – definitely. Tart crust instead of galette – so pretty. Crumble topping I had leftover in the freezer – check!
As you can tell, the later the evening became, the worse my photograph became.
If only I could bake every morning in perfect lighting.
