Beet + Banana Protein Smoothie

Our family loves a good smoothie.  I love that you can make them with basically anything you have on hand. Feeling a little sluggish, toss in some protein powder. Feeling like you need some greens, toss in some kale. Feeling like you need a yummy fresh snack idea for the kids, toss in some berries + yogurt.  This colorful smoothie is not for everyone, but it’s loaded with protein + vitamins and couldn’t be easier.

1 small organic banana | 3 roasted organic baby beets | 3/4 cup of frozen pineapple chunks | 1 scoop of protein powder | 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk | small handful of ice
