My oldest recently turned 11 and really wanted to have some of his good buddies come for a campout. It was a gorgeous night to have the boys over. He picked out the movie and has been anticipating it for months. This is an example of a fun at home party that isn’t going to be too complicated or taxing on mom + dad and be fun for kids. He chose what they would have for dinner, pizza (naturally) and the type of cake he wanted me to make, (Indiana Jones). The scene was set for a fun evening with the boys! We have the Epson PowerLite Projector, it’s perfect!
Of course, I’m not the type of cake maker that could actually make an Indiana Jones cake myself. But I am the mom that insists on making as many of our family birthday celebration cakes as possible. For #7, after researching online for Star Wars cakes, I found out that you can make an edible cake topper from ANY image you want. Some common ones are already available to order, but there are also several companies out there that allow you to upload any image you would like for your cake topper which for this year, it was an Indiana Jones cake. I ordered through Edible Prints this time around. They did a terrific job with a quick turnaround. Now you can simply and easily create a custom cake any time for any occasion.
