In honor of World Kindness Day this week (November 13, 2013), I’m sharing a small obsession of mine – random acts of kindness.
For some reason I am mildly infatuated with stories and videos of how people react in certain situations. I especially derive great pleasure in experiments that remind me that at the heart of it all, all any of us need is love and compassion. Whether achieved by touch, a smile, or simply looking someone in the eyes these small acts remind us that we are human with the need to connect. In the fast paced social media driven world we live in today, small acts of kindness emphasize our basic desire to be happy and make others happy too.
