It is not a hard task to find things, places, moments, + food to love in New York City. Here are a few from my most recent trip to The City that Never Sleeps.
We started each morning with a run through Central Park.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is hosting an phenomenal exhibit by Tomás Saraceno, Cloud City. We were fortunate to be able to not only see it, but experience it. New York offered us a gorgeous day to explore this truly unique artistic expression. The photos will not give you the sensation you have when you are inside this pentagon installation made of plexiglass and mirrors. All I can say is Wow! If you have the opportunity – Go!
Fishs Eddy is at its heart a kitchen supply store, but really is so much more.
Spent some of each day doing something I rarely {actually never} get to do at home, wander around window shopping All. By. My. Self. I did do a little real shopping too. It was Fashion Week after all!
Love this shot with the rainbow in the fountain at Washington Square Park.
Hubs thought this was funny. My favorite treat at The Bouchon Bakery is always a pistachio macaroon. Today, it happened to match my watch AND my jeans!
More walking.
I’ve been loving a good Jalapeño Margarita this summer. Just had to fit one more in!
A trip to New York is not complete without a meal a Buvette. Jody Williams has created quite a special place on Grove Street.
Have a lovely weekend.
