It’s that time of year for our family. Aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, cousins, and 2 kiddos with birthdays this summer! It’s cake time!
Over the years we’ve had magic parties (my cute hubbie is also a magician), treasure hunt parties and music parties.

Last summer was a fairy party
This year, in order to keep things simple. I’m taking a couple of girls on a short outing and focussing all my attention on the cake. I have this thing about birthdays and homemade cake. Doesn’t have to be pretty – just needs to be baked with LOVE.
My 6 year old has requested a “high as I can make it” layered, frosted, sprinkled, purple, white, pink and green cake! Phew! that’s a lot o’cake.
