Kids Nutrition + A Giveaway!!

in food and drink, motherhood

Are you guys anything like me where I’m constantly trying new ways to get my kids to eat healthier?! That’s what I thought.  What parent isn’t really?  Whether you have a truly picky eater or just kids being kids, we all would like our kids to try some new foods, branch out from their ruts, and crave more than something that comes in yet another package.

My friends at Prescribe Nutrition have heard from parents just like us and put together a comprehensive program for the kids.  They are talking about new recipes, ideas for healthier snacks and lunches, ways to sneak nutrients in, and most importantly, how food causes behavioral shifts and swings.  If you have kids that only eat beige food, kids that are low in energy or have spikes in energy, kids that aren’t performing in school to their potential, or you just need some new tricks up your sleeve, this program is just right for you!  Take a peek at Katie + Megan and what they are up to now with our littlest loves in mind. {If vimeo doesn’t load at first, refresh your browser}

I’d LOVE the complimentary session to Kids Rule! I have always been determined to serve healthy, natural foods to my family. But, as we all know, sometimes you get into a rut of buying pre-packaged items for their snacks and meals- just seems like the easier option. I was just going through my pantry last week trying to “use up” all of these packaged foods, but now I’m not exactly sure what to replace them with! Also, my daughter has recently been on an emotional roller coasted. I’m sure much of it has to do with the fact that she is “3”, but I also think some of it is food related (especially sugar). I’d love to hear all about the research behind the food-behavior link. The whole thing looks SO interesting! Hope I win :)

My oldest is the pickiest eater. He simply refuses to eat if there is something new. No meat, no veggies. I will do ANYTHING to get him to eat healthy!

Kids Rule looks great. as a momma to 3 (9,7 and just-turned-six yesterday!) kiddos with a variety of food allergies/ sensitivities (wheat, dairy, egg, soy), I’m always on a mission to find fun, tasty recipes that don’t leave my children feeling deprived.
Thanks for,the chance to win.

Thank you for the awesome opportunity! I have 3 wild and sweet boys ages 7,4, and 1. They are carb/sugar addicts and I am in a constant state of battle with them over what they can/can’t eat. They’ve been exposed to so much junk through public school, summer camp, and Grandma’s house (sorry M-I-L) that they think eating healthy means yucky and boring and they are terrified of trying anything green. I read this course description and its like it was made for me!

I’m in the same boat as the other moms to 3 of the pickiest eaters around. I have been known to attempt to hide veggies anywhere — even in ice cream — just to get some of those vitamins into the systems of these little peeps (I know, I know, not a very effective mechanism). I am a big believer in the effect of food on behavior, and I desperate for a new way to navigate my middle’s food allergies/eczema, and the stand-your-ground insistence all 3 have on eating only food that tastes good. I participated in your Rules program, so I believe in you and the power of healthy food that tastes good! I also have a big mouth, so I will be telling anyone and everyone I know how great this program was for my kids!
