I have been wanting to make this colorful felt ball garland for my middle daughter’s room for a year.  I kept putting it off and finally decided that I’d make it for a Christmas gift this year.  Well…that didn’t happen either.  I did get everything ordered and literally made this SO simple garland in the car ride home from our New Years holiday.

It turned out really nicely and she loves it!  All you need are felt balls, waxed twine, a needle, and some scissors.  I ordered everything from the fantastic online craft shop Ornamentea.  I used two bags of the 2cm felt balls and two bags of the 3cm felt balls in spectrum and retro pastel along with the charcoal waxed linen string.  I was debating whether I preferred the balls tightly strung or spread farther apart.  I decided to leave it three fingers distance between them and it turned out perfect.  We both love it!
