Blogger Spotlight

I’ve been thinking about starting this segment for a while now since I’m frequently asked which blogs I love to read.  There are millions out there in the blogsphere, but some seem to catch my eye more often than others. Here we go with the first in this new series of Blogger Spotlight.  I hope you find some you enjoy as much as I do.

First up,

Blogger Sharon Beesley blogs at NYC Taught Me.  She is a mom of 3 {like her already} that writes about all things related to being a mom, wife, friend, and sister.  She lives in NYC {obviously} which is partly why I enjoy reading her blog so much.  She is basically living out my fantasy of packing up my family and moving from California to NYC.  I have an insatiable need to read about her running around New York with her kiddos and husband while getting glimpses of China Town, Central Park, the subway, Brooklyn Bridge, etc.  But mostly I appreciated how raw and real she is in her writing.  She laughs at herself like the best of ’em and accepts praise modestly.  I can SO relate when she blogs about messy cupcake frosting and crappy family pics.  She’s fun + funny.  I think you’ll enjoy spending a little time with NYC Taught Me too.  Here are 2 of my favorite posts:
